About Dog Training Elite Clarksville

Dog Training Elite Clarksville is a franchise territory, and it should be read as the local operation rather than as the national brand. The territory is run locally – the team page lists "Parker Fillmore" as "Owner & Trainer" of Dog Training Elite Clarksville – and the areas it names for itself are Ashland Hills, Clarksville, Sango, Spring Field and St. Bethlehem.

One claim that belongs to the brand, not to Clarksville

Two sentences on the Clarksville page carry a long tenure: "Built on 40+ years of experience, Dog Training Elite proudly leads the way in professional service dog training tailored to your needs." and "We are a family-owned, professional dog training company with over 40 years of experience specializing in strengthening the bond between you and your dog." Both appear word for word on other Dog Training Elite city pages – the Knoxville page carries them identically – so the forty years is the franchise network's history, not this territory's.

The packages

Obedience is sold in three tiers, each available as in-home or in-facility training. Platinum is the top tier: "Platinum offers advanced obedience/behavioral modification with a goal of off-leash control." with eight one-to-one sessions and sixteen group classes, plus elite testing and specialty task preparation. Gold is five one-to-one sessions and twelve group classes, aimed at a well-behaved dog at home and in public. Silver is the smallest – "Behavior touch up for well trained dogs who have previously been through training and need some refinement." – with three one-to-one sessions and eight group classes. Every tier lists an e-collar as included equipment, which says more about the method than the copy does. The packages page routes to a free assessment, so ask about prices there.

Specialist programs

Beyond obedience the territory publishes puppy training, service-dog training – described as tasks such as retrieving items, providing stability or alerting to medical conditions – therapy-dog training, and an anxiety-and-aggression program. Its behavior-solutions list names socialization, biting, fear and reactiveness, separation anxiety, excessive barking, staying and coming, potty training, and destructive chewing and digging. The business sums itself up this way: "We offer in-home dog training, basic obedience, advanced training, and specialized programs like Service Animals and Therapy Dogs."

Worth knowing before you call

In-home training is the option the copy leads with, so it is worth asking where in-facility sessions and the group classes included in every package actually take place before booking. The stated entry point is a free assessment.
