About East Bend Kennels

East Bend Kennels offers custom dog training based in Concord. Its own site says the business was founded in 2025 by a young couple who both graduated from the Highland Canine School for Dog Trainers, with training there in police and working dogs and in behavior modification.

Programs

Three formats are published. Private lessons are one-to-one sessions covering basic obedience or correcting unwanted behaviors, described as a step-by-step guide from the trainer. Train & Stay is the residential program, offered at different lengths so there are options for different situations. Behavior modification is built either as a board and train or as private lessons, and the site says it is meant for severe issues such as aggression or extreme fear.

Method

The site describes balanced training methods, framed as communicating properly with the dog and strengthening the bond between dog and owner. The stated aim is improving the level of connection between dog and handler rather than command performance alone.

Starting

The published entry point is a free consultation.
