About K9 ABCs – Advanced Behavior Consultants

One-trainer coaching in Miami

K9 ABCs – Advanced Behavior Consultants is a Miami dog training business run by Alex, its founder and only trainer. Alex is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and describes near a decade of experience serving Coral Gables, Coconut Grove and Brickell. Training uses science-based methods focused on communication, trust and long-term results, and Alex says fear and intimidation are never part of it. Every client gets one-on-one help and a plan built around the household's lifestyle and goals.

Programs

Private sessions take place at the owner's home or a chosen Miami location. Puppy Training Essentials covers basic commands and socialization, with puppies welcome from 8 weeks old. Bark to School helps adult dogs master essential commands through positive reinforcement. Advanced obedience builds focus and response, behavioral issue solutions target nuisance behaviors like barking and jumping, and Power Hour offers focused one-hour sessions on a specific behavior or skill. Multi-dog households are welcome. Dog-dog aggression cases may be accepted after review, and for human-directed aggression Alex recommends a licensed veterinary behaviorist.
