About North Shore K-9 Services at Von Miller Kennels

A working-dog kennel that also boards and trains pets

North Shore K-9 Services, LLC operates at Von Miller Kennels in what the site calls the far north suburbs of Chicago. The home page describes the business first as a breeder of imported German Shepherds, Dutch Shepherds and Dobermans, with health screening for hips, elbows, cardio and thyroid, and says puppies come with a health guarantee and lifetime support. The about page then sets out the second half of the business: boarding and training for "every guest", from family pets to high-level performance dogs.

Training on offer

The listed training services are obedience, socialization sessions, puppy classes, behavior modification, and agility and enrichment, with board-and-train options and e-collar training. The about page adds specialized coaching in competitive obedience, agility, nose work and tracking, plus continued structure for working dogs in law enforcement, search and rescue and detection roles. The services page also lists protection and security programs, emotional support, PTSD-support and therapy dog work, and AKC Good Citizen and Good Citizen Advanced preparation.

Facilities and booking

The site describes climate-controlled kennels and whelping rooms converted for boarding, with small and medium breeds boarded separately from large and giant breeds and indoor and outdoor activity each day. Grooming for heavy-coated breeds and local and state-to-state ground transport are offered too. For prices, every services block says to call. The site states plainly that all services require a deposit and that deposits are non-refundable.
