About Ojai Board & Train

What they offer

Ojai Board & Train provides dog training, boarding and daycare on a half-acre training property in the foothills of the Ojai Valley. With more than ten years of experience in both positive reinforcement and balanced methods, the trainers combine tools and techniques to suit each dog and household.

Training

Training covers basic obedience commands, socialization, loose-leash walking, off-leash training, recall, crate training and bite inhibition, plus behavior modification for anxiety, reactivity and aggression and service dog training. Common problems addressed include biting, chewing, barking, jumping, pulling, running away, fear and resource guarding. Board and train is the core program. One-on-one sessions can be held at the training property, at another location or, in the Ojai area, as in-home training that sets house rules and manners where the dog lives.

Boarding and daycare

Dogs boarded or in daycare stay in the care of a professional trainer, with supervised group play, individual walks and optional add-on training sessions.
