In-home dog coaching in Lincoln

Peaceful Dog Leadership provides training and in-home boarding in the Lincoln area, focused on uniting owner and dog through trust, respect and love. Jackie, the dog behavior coach, aims to strengthen communication between owners and dogs to establish a peaceful and balanced pack. She received her Certified Dog Trainer Certificate from Animal Behavior College in 2017, is certified in the Communicative Leashwork Process (TM) and completed an eight-month dog training apprenticeship through Life Changing Dog Training in 2020.

Training

Customized training sessions ($150, usually 90 to 120 minutes) take place in the dog's own home. Jackie assesses the dog, teaches owners to understand what the dog is communicating, demonstrates how to solve the problem and works with them until they are confident, covering issues like leash pulling, ignoring recall, barking or jumping at the door, reacting to neighbor dogs and peeing in the house. Day training adds an hour of training to a day care, play date or boarding stay for $75.

Boarding and care

Overnight boarding in Jackie's home is $50 a night, or $30 a night for each additional dog from the same household, with a limit of five dogs. Day care runs $30 for four hours or $40 for eight, play dates are $30 for four hours and dog adventures to a park or trail are $40. Payment is cash or Venmo.
