About RAW DAWGS | Single-Command Dog Training

RAW DAWGS is built around a single deliberate constraint – it sells one session at a time, aimed at one problem, and does not board dogs. The tagline on the home page is "Fast, Effective, In-Home Dog Training in Franklin, TN (and surround areas)" and the model is spelled out as "No boarding, no lengthy programs – just real results with guaranteed satisfaction."

Who runs it

Two people, and both attend every session. The about block says "Riley and Anna, Nashville natives with over a decade of dog training experience, saw a gap in the dog training market". No certifications are claimed and none are implied.

How a session works

The sequence is published in order. They observe first: "Rather than immediately stepping in or correcting your dog, we observe their natural response to the situation." Then "we work through 2-5 targeted exercises based on the specific issue we are addressing", with the reasoning explained as they go – "You will not just leave knowing what to do. You will understand why you are doing it". Afterwards, "within 24 hours, you will receive personalized homework by text", with an open line to the trainers between sessions.

Price and what is included

One flat number. "Training sessions are $200 per session and are available in Franklin, Nashville, Columbia, and surrounding areas." Included in that: "two RAW DAWGS trainers at every session, travel to your location, and any training materials or tools used during the session", plus a free consultation call and an in-person evaluation. "You only book additional sessions if you and your dog need them."

Where they work

Stated directly: "We come to you! Our training sessions are conducted at your home or in specific locations where your dog is experiencing issues." "Our main service area is Franklin, Tennessee", with travel beyond Nashville at no extra fee.

Specialty sessions

Three sit outside the standard session, each at the same $200. Introductions, for "Introducing two dogs or bringing a dog and a new person together". Preparing for a new baby: "We help prepare your dog for the changes that come with bringing a new baby home." And new pet evaluations, to judge whether an addition is a good fit for the household.

Difficult cases

Answered in the FAQ: "Yes! We specialize in working with dogs of all backgrounds, including those with behavioral challenges, past trauma, or a history of reactivity." The method line is "Using positive reinforcement, homework, patience, and a tailored approach".
