About Blue Stripe K9

Blue Stripe K9 is a veteran-owned training business whose home page announces "WE'VE MOVED! We are now located in Franklin, TN!" The site gives a Franklin address only as the town itself, with no street, and lists weekday hours of 8am to 6pm with Sunday "By Appointment".

Who runs it

Tyler Peterson is named as Owner and Head Trainer. His own account on the site is unusually specific: he worked as a kennel tech on a farm in his Missouri hometown, served "as an Infantryman in the US Army", then moved into police-dog training, and "In 2018, Tyler founded BlueStripe K9". He lists formal schooling at US K9 Unlimited and says he "attended Tarheel School for Dog Trainers in 2021, where he certified as a PSA Decoy" before going on "to certify as a IGP helper". A second trainer, Haylie, is described as "a certified narcotics and explosives detection trainer and handler".

What they publish

Pet-side work is set out as three things. Private lessons come in "5 Lessons or 8 Lessons with E-Collar", and the site states plainly where they happen: "One of our trainers comes to your home, or meets you at a public location". Board and train runs "2 weeks, 4 weeks". Boarding is offered to training clients and new dogs alike. The mission paragraph adds "basic obedience, group training, private sessions" to that list.

How the board and train is scheduled

The intake model is stated openly and is unusual enough to be worth knowing before you call: a "batching system: all dogs arrive at the beginning of the month and go home at the end of month in batches", with "extremely limited spots to ensure each individual dog gets its training and non training needs met every day".

Working-dog side

A separate page covers law enforcement, personal protection and sport. Tyler is said to be "certified in High Risk Deployment, SKIDS, high level tracking, and man trailing", and to have "titled his own dogs in IGP and PSA, as well as coached clients to titles in both sports". Protection work is described for scenarios including "car jacking, atm robbery, home protection, search and apprehension".

What is not on the site

No prices, no street address, and no stated position on method beyond the e-collar package and the sport and police background. The copyright line still reads 2020.
