About Right on Cue!

What they offer

Right on Cue! is a dog training business based in Buxton that offers in-home private obedience training for puppies and adult dogs. Its trainer holds a degree in animal science, is studying toward a certificate in training and counseling and a master's degree in applied animal behavior, and uses positive-reinforcement, aversive-free methods.

Training

Every client starts with an initial consultation that covers how dogs learn, management recommendations and a training plan. After that, the trainer travels to homes in most of Cumberland and York Counties for single sessions or packages: a basic manners package of weekly sessions over six weeks, or an obedience intensive with two sessions a week. Skills include sit, down and stand, leave it, stay and wait, recall around distractions, body handling and cooperative care, and polite greetings.

Scope

The trainer says she does not currently take fear or aggression cases and plans to add them after completing her certification.
