What they publish

The focus is stated in the headline: "Dog Training For The Reactive Or Anxious Dog In Your Life", described as "fear-free, enrichment based, positive dog training in Maryville, TN and online". The behavior list they publish is specific: barking, lunging and pulling on leash; stranger danger; fear or anxiety; territorial and resource guarding; overarousal or an inability to settle; and counter-surfing.

Who runs it

The trainer is named on the site as Beccy Hughes, who writes in the first person about having been in the client's position herself: "just like you I once felt like my dog's bad behavior was leaving me lost and hopeless", naming walks and interhousehold conflict as the flashpoints, and the conflicting advice available online and from family as part of the problem. A certifications and continuing education section is published on the site.

Area served

In-home across Maryville, Alcoa, Walland, Townsend, Seymour, Eagleton Village, Rockford, Louisville, Tellico Village and South Knoxville – Blount, Sevier, Loudon and Knox Counties – and online anywhere.

Who it suits

Owners of reactive, fearful or anxious dogs who want positive, fear-free coaching at home rather than a board and train, and anyone outside the travel area who can work with remote sessions.
