About Savvy City Dog

What they offer

Savvy City Dog helps Bethesda and Chevy Chase families raise calm, confident dogs, from 8-week-old puppies to reactive rescues, and also serves Kensington and nearby Washington neighborhoods. Services include puppy day training, private in-home puppy coaching, virtual training and online courses, and private training for dogs six months and older.

Behavior work

Private and virtual sessions address separation anxiety, housetraining, barking and reactivity, and the business says it has extensive experience with leash-reactive dogs. Puppy programs cover socialization, manners, obedience, crate comfort and sleeping through the night.

Approach

Training is science-based and reward-driven, led by a certified behavior consultant with more than 20 years of experience. A free 15-minute consultation is the first step.
