About Scatter Creek Kennels & Training Services

What they offer

Scatter Creek Pet Care Center is a family-owned training, boarding and supply business on Old Highway 99 near Tenino, with over 40 years of experience in canine behavior and pet care. Its trainers have a background in competitive dog sports, tracking, detection, police and protection work.

Training

A consultation and lesson starts with the staff observing and evaluating the dog, explaining how dogs learn and the cause of the behavior problem, then building a training program for the owner. Private one-on-one lessons follow a set curriculum in a quiet setting, with package options for five or more sessions. The board and train option, three weeks at minimum, lays the foundation for owners short on time: heel, sit, down, stay, come, a thirty-minute down, and manners at doors, entries and gates, along with basic behavior issues, and it includes three private lessons for the owner.

Other services

Boarding and a shop of food and training equipment, including remote collars and leather leashes, round out the center.
