About Sit Stay Fit
Training and exercise in Multnomah Village
Sit Stay Fit in Multnomah Village was "born from a passion for dogs, and a love for fitness and exercise." Co-owners Jenna Chinn, CPDT-KA, and Jamie Walthers, CBCC-KA, CPDT-KA, founded it in 2012. The shop offers retail, drop-off training and sessions owners attend themselves.
Services
Options include day training, puppy play groups, private training and group classes for dogs of any age. For puppies, trainers can guide owners through puppyhood with owners present at every step or through drop-off work that gives owners time back.
The team
Most of the team holds the CPDT-KA credential, and several trainers also hold CBCC-KA or other certifications. Senior trainer Alex Kester builds outdoor adventure into client dogs' care, general manager Audra Allis has worked with dogs and their owners since 2009 with a special interest in reactive dogs, and trainer Reid Neuman has worked with dogs in the Portland area for over 15 years. Team members describe positive reinforcement methods and relationship-focused training.
