Cooper's Dog Training and Behavior Modification is a Portland business run by trainer Kate, who aims for every client to have a sound and trusting relationship with their dog. She uses positive reinforcement for everything from basic obedience to aggression, holds a BS in Zoology, is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, and has worked with top trainers since 2001.

Services

Private in-home training covers raising a first puppy, obedience, manners, leash walking, off-leash management and aggression or reactivity toward people and dogs. Programs usually start with five lessons, and private lessons run seven days a week, 10 am to 9 pm. Group classes meet at Play and Chase Dog Care on SW Barbur Blvd. Kate also offers AKC Canine Good Citizen testing, boarding with training for clients, and Skype consultations for follow-ups.
