Tooth & Claw Canine Training

Dana was very helpful with your 8 month old chocolate lab, tailoring his 5-day board and train program to fit our previously scheduled vacation. We were sent daily videos of skills in progress, which we can now refer back to for continued training. As an experienced dog owner myself who already knows dog-training basics, Dana was very helpful in expanding on concepts my dog and I are already familiar with to help us master skills or prepare skills for more practical uses. I didn’t worry about my pup once while on vacation, and he came back to me happy and with a better, more solid foundation.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Dana at Tooth & Claw Canine Training! From the start, Dana took the time to understand the specific goals our family has for our puppy, Cooper, and recommended a training schedule to best achieve those goals. Every week, we dropped Cooper off for training, and Dana would send us YouTube videos of the commands he worked on, so we always have a reference to continue training at home. His use of positive reinforcement, combined with his knowledge, concise communication, and kind demeanor, makes him an exceptional trainer.

Another fantastic benefit is that Dana always has other dogs in his home, providing excellent socialization opportunities for Cooper. This has been invaluable in helping our pup develop well-rounded social skills.

We've also had Dana board Cooper, and we fully trust him to treat our pup like family. We look forward to continuing to work with Dana for future boarding needs and doggy daycare. Everyone is always so impressed with Cooper's skills, and it's all thanks to Dana!

Dana is an amazing trainer. My puppy has an extreme fear of new people and Dana was able to get her to trust him after just 45 mins. He has worked with her on several occasions for training and she loves him! He is the only person I would trust to take care of my pup while on vacation.

My wife and I took our boxer to Tooth and Claw as a puppy and she’s continued to go there on a weekly basis for doggy daycare. Dana is a truly wonderful trainer and has taken such great care of our dog. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Dana is a fantastic trainer and his methods have shown through to complete strangers when they meet our English Springer Spaniel. Lessons are geared to positive reinforcement and mental stimulation and your pet is treated respectfully as a part of Dana's own family. Dana takes the time to understand your pet, your home, and your goals and delivers on the areas most important to a happy and healthy relationship with your pet. Our pup was excited to "go to school" and to show off his new skills once he was home. Dana is flexible with scheduling and available for any and all questions.
