About Wet Tire Farms K9
What they offer
Wet Tire Farms K9 offers Spokane dog owners a whole-dog approach to training built on clear communication and leadership, and aims to be a community where any dog owner feels they belong. It currently offers private training sessions, group classes, and board and train programs taken on case by case.
Programs
Private sessions are with the head trainer and focus on teaching owners to live in harmony with their dog, covering obedience and unwanted behaviors. Board and train is limited so that each dog gets a focused, individual plan; owners start with an inquiry form describing the dog. Board and train programs run four, six or eight weeks.
About the trainer
Head trainer Amber Tyler is in her eleventh year as a law enforcement officer and has worked as a K9 handler for five years, including as a patrol K9 handler course instructor. The site describes balanced methods that may include e-collars, prong collars and slip leads when appropriate.
