Whitaker Dog runs a pickup and drop-off day camp, boarding and dog training, with a Glendale location on Ivy Street and service across Los Angeles, the San Fernando Valley and the San Gabriel Valley. New clients start with a free in-home assessment.

Training

Its training programs run three to six weeks and focus on confidence, manners and calmer behavior, and the business coaches owners as well as dogs. Board and train tiers cover basic training, crate training, loose-leash walking, threshold and place work and meal-time manners, with a premium tier that adds long-line work, an introduction to off-leash training and behavior modification for aggressive behavior. It lists help for impulsive behavior, resource guarding, recall and over-excitement, and also sells in-home behavior packages and a training club.

Other services

Day camp includes pack play in a large yard with pickup and drop-off, and overnight boarding runs year-round.
