I have thought long and hard about this review of Willow Wood Pet Resort & Training Center. As the founding owner of Top Dog Daycare in Columbus, I understand what it takes to successfully operate a facility of this size. Proper zoonosis control, traffic management, and maintaining a high‑quality, well‑trained staff are critical to running a safe and effective operation.
I feel completely comfortable leaving my girls here, knowing the staff is trained in canine behavior and actively works to prevent incidents. I especially appreciate that they require rest periods, allowing dogs to recharge and reducing the risk of scuffles caused by fatigue or overstimulation.
Their commitment to cleanliness is evident. Accidents are addressed promptly to prevent lingering odors and the spread of disease. Much like a human child’s daycare, it is imperative that surfaces remain clean and dry, and Willow Wood clearly understands and prioritizes this.
They also offer additional services, including grooming and individualized attention, which has been invaluable for one of my girls who is not a candidate for group daycare. Not all dogs can tolerate the stimulation and noise of a busy play environment, and it’s reassuring to know that those needs are recognized and accommodated here.

I have taken my 10 month Samoyed to daycare twice and have gotten him groomed once (his first groom ever!) I was so nervous to take my baby somewhere and trust others to take care of him. My dog wants to be with me at all times so I was nervous he wouldn’t enjoy being away. But he absolutely LOVES coming here. He gets to play with all his puppy friends! The second time we came for daycare, he knew where we were and he was ready to jump out of the car and go inside. They sent the cutest pics of him and gave me updates on him. I feel at ease taking him here and knowing that he will have a fun time. I was also SO happy with how Bear looked after his grooming appointment! He was white and fluffy as could be. Trimmed up nice and had a cute bandana on 🥹 I could not stop telling him how handsome he was! Super friendly staff. Jocelyna is the best!

The staff was always friendly, caring, and willing to let us know how our girl was doing. We received pictures and she looked like she was having the time of her life. Willow Wood helped us feel at ease to leave our fur baby while we were away! We definitely recommend and will go back in the future!! ❤️

We have used Willow Wood Pet Resort since 2009. All 3 of our Vizslas have stayed at the resort over the years. The staff and facilities are excellent. Whenever we can't take Lilah with us, we know she will be well cared for and having a great time.
