We love The Dog Wizard!! David worked with our 8 month old miniature dachshund, Winnie, and he did such a great job!!! Before working with David, Winnie was unbearably challenging for us and put so much strain on our household. Since working with David, it’s like we have a whole new dog!! She is so well behaved but still has her fun, spunky, mischievous personality that we love so much!! She also stopped terrorizing our cat, Sassy, who very much appreciates David’s help for that; now they’re just two best buds! 🥹🩵
Thank you so much to David!! Winnie loves you and we can’t wait to start swim lessons soon!! ☺️ (Winnie also got to work with Kayla for a day and we love her as well!!)

We had such a wonderful experience with Kayla during Lydia’s 2-week board and train program!
Kayla worked with Lydia on building confidence, puppy obedience, socialization, and so many important foundational skills. Since coming home, Lydia has been so much more responsive, well-mannered, and truly a pleasure to have around. We can tell how much time, patience, and care Kayla put into working with her.
Our whole family was beyond excited to have Lydia back home after the two weeks away, and we were so happy to see the positive changes in her behavior and confidence. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Lydia was in such good hands.
We would absolutely trust Kayla to work with Lydia again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, knowledgeable, and effective dog trainer!

We brought our 6 month old lab puppy, Charlie, to the Dog Wizard for help with pretty much everything. Charlie was counter surfing, pulling badly on leash, getting into everything, chasing the cat, jumping on people, and just would not listen. Pam was our trainer, and I cannot say enough about the amazing job she did. She is an excellent communicator – texted us regular updates and posted videos of our clearly very happy puppy almost every day. She came to our house several times to train us, and was very patient with all our questions. Since Charlie came home she has been night and day better. Don't get me wrong – she's still a whirlwind of crazy chocolate lab energy and personality – but we have been provided an off switch, or at least a pause button. Charlie also loves to do the training, and often actually puts herself in timeout. She is perfect on leash and in stores. And we still can call Pam anytime if we have any questions or issues. She responds immediately, and has offered to do more meetings if we ever need. We love Pam!!

Chase looked for a home for over a year. In that time she became anxious and hard to handle. After working with Pam for just a couple days, you could tell a bond was being formed. Pam was patient, kind, consistent, and showed Chase that she cared about her and believed that she could succeed. Those traits made Chase more than successful in her training. She became an amazing dog again! Thank you so much Pam!! All her success is a result of your hard work! Met several more great employees, but also wanted to mention David. Knowledgeable, patient, so willing to help and give of his time! You all have a great group there! Thank you so much!

There is a silent struggle that many dog owners endure. Having a reactive dog can be isolating, and at times, depressing. You feel alone, helpless and maybe even a little embarrassed. You hold your breath when UPS delivers a package, you stop inviting family over and you anxiously walk outside, constantly looking every which way to avoid triggers. We came to the Dog Wizard overwhelmed and depleted. Not only did Pam listen, she helped us carry the load.
Our boy Theo had a lot of anxiety and reactivity. He struggled with confidence and the ability to calm his mind and body. We needed guidance, structure and patience. Pam worked diligently with Theo sharing her skills, knowledge and love for animals. She was honest, thorough and has never left us guessing. She has patiently worked with our children and our neighbors to help Theo, and all of us, succeed. Our dog is now pleasant, obedient and happy! We are forever grateful for Pam and her continued dedication to dogs and their families.
