Katie is an excellent trainer! She really is a "dog whisperer"! My dog, Callie, is a 9-year-old Lab Mix with a lot of anxiety and has never been able to be near other dogs. We have tried many other programs and trainers, and nothing worked. Finally, we called Katie and I am amazed to see that after a few sessions, Callie is actually starting to relax! We are very hopeful that we may be able to welcome a second dog into our household with Katie's guidance. We highly recommend Katie, you will not be disappointed!

Katie was awesome with my 3-4 month old german shepherd mix!! She helped us with all of our puppy questions. Katie did a great job teaching our dog to listen and to follow basic commands. We also got into more advanced things and outdoor walking. She is amazing with dogs and I highly recommend. My only comment/concern is that her sessions did not always last a full hour. Often times my puppy just got tired and couldn't last through a full hour of training. For this reason, I wish she offered shorter sessions for puppies (that weren't as expensive) so we didn't have to pay for a full hour session when it only lasted 30-45 minutes. Regardless, I am still very satisfied with the training she provided and would definitely recommend!

My kids and husband talked me into adopting two Welsh Corgis right before Christmas. By mid January, I was really regretting this. Adopting One puppy is hard enough, but trying to train two at the same time is a Whole ‘nuther thing. And there really isn’t anything on the internet about it for help.

I got Katie’s name As a great trainer from a friend and she has been GREAT! So helpful that she comes to our home, so our puppies are trained right In Their own environment. She is very flexible, easy to schedule with and she has been very punctual every time we have met with her. She also has a flat rate, no extra charge for having 2 dogs. And I feel like for the services she offers, her rates are very reasonable especially as she comes to you. We did some off-site work as well (at Home Depot and a Pet store) after the puppies got a little older, and she has brought her own dog and some other equipment (tunnel, balance board) with her at times to help with the training.

Katie’s suggestions for techniques and tools have all been spot on. Our puppies are turning into pretty good little guys and I am back to being glad we adopted them.

Katie is the Dog Whisper for this area. We could not be more pleased with her technical ability to change the dynamic in our household. 2 dogs (a puppy and a senior dog) and a 7 year old. She was able to train us to help our dog understand the command we were giving. By our 5th lesson she felt like part of our family. We would recommend her to anyone with any type type of dog.
