Our 1.5 year old bernedoodle, Winston just finished the two-week board and train program, and the difference is amazing. Marty was incredibly kind, communicative, and professional throughout the entire process. He kept us updated with photos and made sure we felt comfortable every step of the way.

Marty is outstanding! He was worth every penny for the two week board in training. Our Golden was out of control trying to give him a walk. Now he walks off leash whenever we go on walks. It's been three years and we still get compliments on how well trained our dog is. Marty is excellent with communication. I was having trouble with the e-collar recently and he helped me figure out what was wrong with it. I was about ready to buy a brand new one and he took time out of his busy schedule to help us. If you're looking for a trainer, this is the one for you! In today's world people just barely do their job and bring home a paycheck. Marty is 110% committed to the well-being of your dog. I can not thank him enough!

Marty is an incredible trainer! Our sweet pup recently came back from a 2-week board and train and she is a new, close-to-perfect dog! She was dragging me on walks and if we would come upon a squirrel or rabbit, she would nearly topple me over with her lunging and out of control behavior. She wouldn’t get into my car, so I had to pick her up and put her in. She would counter surf and drive us bananas during our mealtime with her begging. She would gnaw on our shoes, power cords and socks. She definitely had all the nuisance behaviors on lockdown, which isn’t surprising for an 8-month old mixed breed straight out of the shelter.

After just a couple days with Marty, he had her heeling perfectly and jumping into his truck. By the end of the two weeks, she was able to heel, stay in place (a GAME CHANGER while we are eating!), sit, lay down, come when called, and respond to “off” for any nuisance behaviors. We are absolutely thrilled and would highly recommend Marty to any dog parent. Marty is also exceptional at communication and would give us an update every day on Stella and her progress. Marty at Woodside K9 is nothing short of a miracle worker! We have trusted him to train both of our dogs, with truly amazing results. We first worked with him for our pittie, who has since passed, and more recently for our very anxious rescue super mutt, Ember.

We are so thankful for Marty and Woodside K9. What an enlightening experience for us all! We got a puppy who was having some issues with confidence and fearful about new people and situations! We were afraid to expose her to too much or to anything too quickly and make things worse so we decided to leave it to a professional!

We went into our initial meeting with Marty planning only to do a couple puppy lessons in our home. We couldn’t imagine trusting her with someone other than us for an extended stay but from our first meeting with Marty, we knew he was a match for us and for our pup.

Luna ended up doing a board and train and spent two weeks with Marty and she came home a better, more confident version of herself. She transformed from a dog who was afraid of her own shadow or of a bird flying by her, to a dog who can walk down a busy street, hear cars honking their horns and speeding by her, walk through groups of people, see other animals without distraction, or walk through malls and busy places without hesitation! She has found her confidence and is happier because of it! He sent us daily updates with photos and videos of their adventures and explained what they worked on each day. We looked so forward to our daily “Luna pupdates” which helped pass the time for us!

She has come so far but we know the work never ends. We are so comforted knowing Marty is there to support us in our journey with her and help out any time we have a question or a concern. We can’t say enough good things about Marty and Woodside K9. 10/10 would recommend over and over!!
