About BlackPaw K9 Solutions LLC

A banner sits across every page of BlackPaw's own site: "Training services are currently postponed. Boarding services remain open as usual!" Anyone coming here for training should call before making plans.

What they do

BlackPaw K-9 Solutions started in April 2018 as a full-service training and boarding facility in Valdosta. Its published program list covers group classes, board and train, private lessons with detailed reports, specialty and working dog training, behavior modification and preparation courses for law enforcement dog handlers, plus boarding. The behavior work is aimed at dogs with reactivity or aggressive tendencies; the working dog side covers odor detection, tracking for human beings and protection training.

The trainer

Matt Williams is named on the site as founder. He writes that his K9 work began in 2010 in the Marine Corps as an explosive detection dog handler, and the site says he has attended courses with American K9 Interdiction and is experienced with military and law enforcement K9 training.
