About Blind Faith Family Canine Academy
Family-oriented, home-based training
Blind Faith Family Canine Academy, based in Pickerington, emphasizes family-friendly training done in a home environment rather than a kennel, with the line "Your dog doesn't live in a kennel, so why get them trained in one?" The site states 15+ years of professional training experience and offers lifetime support for peace of mind. It serves clients across Columbus and Central Ohio, including Bexley, Gahanna, Grandview, New Albany, Pataskala, and Upper Arlington.
Training formats
Three formats are offered. Private Lessons teach owners the first steps of training one-on-one with a professional, aimed at people who want to understand the methods and techniques themselves. Board and Train, described as the most popular option, has the dog board in a home during training for faster results, suited to busy owners who prefer the hardest parts of training handled for them. Day Training is similar to board-and-train but without overnight stays, with the dog working one-on-one with a trainer during the day, positioned as a refresher or a way to add a new skill. The site includes puppy training and success stories, and contact is by phone or email. Specific pricing is not published on the homepage.

I would recommend Bonnie as a trainer to anyone considering a service dog. She will not only train you with a service dog, but also instills safety, confidence, and independence that are truly priceless.
Bonnie is hard working, compassionate, and a true gem! Your dog will be exposed to the most current training as Bonnie is constantly continuing to search new methods of training dogs!
I would highly recommend Blind Faith Family Canine Academy for all your training and boarding needs!
Bonnie knew exactly how to address this and get our dog to act appropriately in the changing environment. In order to create real world conditions, she even went as far as bringing her husband and kids over so we create all sorts of different situations. The best part is that Bonnies training methods do not require any sort of special collars or training devices. Its simply communicating directly with the dog and giving them as many reps as possible to learn the right way to act. We are still in awe of the progress we made in in a single session. Our dog went from barking and lunging at the new visitors to completely coexisitng offleash and even accepting some pets.
If that wasnt enough, we also got some help with our “drop its” during fetch. A few simple changes had an immediate impact that will surely transfer to other situations as well.
