About Canine Caliber LLC
Canine Caliber runs out of Unit J at 487 Erie Street in Lancaster, and the site gives directions down to the door: the driveway is on the Erie Street ramp at the corner of Erie Street and Cemetery Road, and Unit J is the first building on the left past the mailboxes.
Who runs it
Meagan Reger opened Canine Caliber in 2020 after more than ten years working with dogs. She writes that she came to training through her own rescue, Riley, who was dog-reactive, guarded resources and started fights with the other dog in the house. Rebuilding that relationship is what convinced her the work was possible. She lists herself as a certified AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator and says she keeps attending seminars, webinars and workshops.
What it costs
Pricing is published openly. A single private lesson is $110 and three lessons are $295; a lesson runs an hour and can be held at the facility, in the owner's home or out in public. The three-week board and train is $3,000 plus tax and includes three weeks of boarding and training, a two-hour go-home session and three follow-up private lessons, covering leash walking, place, recall, sit and down stays, leave it, confidence building and handler awareness. A four-week program is also listed at $3,600 plus tax.
Beyond pet training
Alongside the pet programs the site advertises workshops geared toward suit sports and personal protection training. Reger has competed with her own dogs for over a decade, starting in scent work with Riley and moving into competitive obedience, personal protection and dock diving.
