About Dakotah’s Doggy Daycare Training Center
Training at Dakotah's in Elk River
Dakotah's Doggy Daycare Training Center is the training side of Dakotah's Doggy Daycare, Hotel, Salon, and Training, a family-owned pet care business in Elk River operating since 2017. Its licensed dog trainers are credited with 15 years of combined experience, and sessions are offered on site at the facility or in the client's own home to work on manners and everyday behavior.
The facility
Owner John, a former bank executive, built the center around his own dogs, Dakotah and Zeus, and lives in the building with them so dogs have 24/7 care. Supervised playgroups use three indoor play areas and a heated outdoor yard with wading pools, agility equipment and a misting system. Daycare runs from $7.50 an hour or $40 a day, boarding includes daycare, and grooming and dog massage therapy are also offered. Owners can watch live PlayCams and book same-day.
