About Dogcipline Inc.

Dogcipline works from Utopia Parkway and describes itself as serving Whitestone and College Point. It is a daycare business with a genuine training arm rather than a facility that merely mentions the word.

Classes and day training

The training page says the business teaches "fun, effective group and private classes," and the stated goal is transfer: the site's own wording is that positive reinforcement should leave the dog successful "not just in the classroom but also in the real world." There is a second option that suits working owners particularly well – day training, where the training happens while the dog is already at daycare, so nobody has to add an evening class to the week. In-home training is on the published rate card as well.

Rates and structure

The rates page lists half-day and full-day daycare, day training, in-home training and dog walking, with monthly packages available. That is more pricing transparency than most Queens facilities publish. The staff page states that certified dog trainers are in charge of the dogs at daycare, which is the part that matters if training is meant to continue through the day rather than stop at the classroom door.

Daycare and walking

Daycare is presented as supervised socialization – the site's argument is that structured play with other dogs is more natural for a dog than a day alone in an apartment. The walking service is framed the same way, with the walkers described as working with the owner on basic behavioral training and social skills rather than simply covering distance.

Practicalities

Vaccinations must be current for daycare and for in-facility training, as required by the New York City Department of Health. The site's own mascot, Star, is described as a Pup-Scout, a Canine Good Citizen, and a therapy dog in training.
