About Freedom K9 Training

Approach

Freedom K9 Training describes itself as a balanced dog training company providing extensive training programs that help dog owners create the dog of their dreams. Its tagline is education for both ends of the leash, and it takes all breeds and all behaviors.

The remote collar specialty

The business says it specializes in modern remote collar, or e-collar, training programs. Its stated purpose is not only off-leash obedience but helping a dog learn to make good choices on its own and access a calm and relaxed state of mind.

What they say they address

The site's opening list of problems is unusually concrete: pulling on the leash, constant barking, jumping on owners and guests, over-excitement, stealing things from counters, ignoring commands, aggression toward dogs or people, chewing, failing to come when called, fearfulness, separation anxiety, only listening when a treat is present, and previous training that falls apart around distractions.

What they are aiming for

The stated goal is a lifestyle and environment of clear communication, boundaries and fulfillment, described as giving the owner freedom and peace of mind and offering the dog the gift of inclusion.

Area

The business presents itself as a Central Virginia dog trainer.
