Who they are

Joey Luke's Dog Training offers "Professional Dog Training Services in Northville, MI" and is run by Joey Luke and Nicole Johncox, who met through rescue work. The site describes Joey starting "in dog rescues, over a decade ago… passionately helping dogs on 'death row,' that he started to hone his skills as a dog trainer." The team now includes Chelsea, a manager who came in through an apprenticeship at Joey Luke's, and the couple's sons. Their stated view: "Since they have moved on from training almost exclusively extreme case dogs on death row, they both understand the importance of dog training for any dog, any person, any family."

Programmes

Three packages are published. The Puppy Program is aimed at "capturing the stage where puppies are sponges." The Board and Train is "a wholly immersive program, your dog stays with us and becomes a part of our family for a short time, while we work through everything and anything from obedience foundation to challenging or embarrassing behaviors," and is named their most popular program. The 1:1 Private Training is owner-coached: "We coach you, we collaborate, you put in the hard work and we celebrate results together."
