About Predictive-Edge Canine Training LLC

Predictive-Edge is a one-man, one-to-one training business. The owner is named on the site as Luke, and he tells the origin plainly: the work started in high school when his family adopted a three-legged pitbull with reactivity and aggression problems, and seeing what a trainer could do for that dog set the direction.

The idea in the name

The premise the business is built on is predictability. The site argues that creating predictable behavior for dog and owner alike makes them partners and removes most problem behavior, and that the owner's job in the remaining fraction is to have the tools to hold things together. He describes developing his own approach while shadowing trainers around the country and raising two working-line Belgian Malinois alongside a full-time job.

How sessions work

Everything is private and on-site: he comes to your home or meets you in public spaces you choose, so the training happens in the dog's own environment. Sessions run an hour and a half at a published price of $150, and the price does not change with the number of dogs in the household. A free consultation sets the number of sessions, which he says usually lands between four and eight. The service area is published as Gainesville, Cumming, Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Dahlonega, Dawsonville, Flowery Branch, Sugar Hill and Suwanee.
