About Rebecca’s Canine Academy

Rebecca's Canine Academy is a dog-sport training facility on State Route 26 in Endicott. The site is compact and lists what it teaches without padding.

What is taught

The academy publishes dog training services in agility, obedience, rally, tracking, IPO, nose work, trick dog, behavior modification, conformation and Canine Good Citizen, and states that all levels are covered. That range spans three different worlds that usually sit in different schools: the AKC performance sports, the protection-sport discipline IPO, and the conformation ring.

Format

Both group and private instruction are available, and the site gives Monday to Friday as its teaching days. The academy states that it trains all breeds and mixes.

Who runs it

The site is signed by Rebecca Letson, listing the post-nominals AAS BT MAT. It also carries a Facility page, a Students page, a gallery, and a page of YouTube videos, and it separately notes a breeding activity distinct from the training school.

Competition record

The academy's home page congratulates a student team on an AKC Invitational 16-inch championship and on AKC Top MACH Dog of the Year honors, which places the agility program at national competition level rather than at pet-class level only.
