About Weston Dog Training

In-home training in Weston

Weston Dog Training Academy offers in-home dog training in Weston and across Broward County, including Weston Hills, Bonaventure, Savanna, Indian Trace, The Ridges and Isles at Weston. Sessions happen in the client's home, park or neighborhood, where the behavior actually happens, with field trips to parks and public places for distraction work. Private sessions typically last 60 minutes, and the trainers describe their methods as balanced and reward-based, built on engagement and trust. Training near local parks such as Tree Tops Park is part of the plan, and a Spanish-language option is offered.

Programs

Puppy Foundations covers potty training, crate training, biting and socialization. Basic Obedience teaches sit, down, stay, come and loose leash walking. Behavior Modification and Reactivity Training address anxiety, aggression, excessive barking and dogs that bark or lunge on leash or at guests. Advanced Off-Leash work aims for reliable recall and obedience around distractions, and Public Access Training prepares dogs to go to malls, restaurants and other public places. Programs are customized to each dog, and booking is usually one to two weeks out.
