About Canine Clubhouse of Maine, LLC
What they offer
Canine Clubhouse of Maine runs structured pack adventures for dogs around Portland and South Portland, with van pickup and drop-off, plus boarding at its clubhouse. Its founder, who directs education and training, also offers a training line focused on dog psychology and behavior.
Training options
A consultation session is the starting point for owners dealing with excessive barking, anxiety, fear, reactivity on or off leash, or obsessive and destructive behaviors, and covers the relationship between the dog and its household and a plan for the home. After that, owners can book one-on-one training sessions, a day-train program in which the trainer works with the dog during the week and the family joins at the end of the week, or immersive in-home sessions of several hours a day over at least three days. A board-and-train option and virtual training are also listed, the latter for issues such as walking, barking, crate introductions, fearfulness and resource guarding.
Pack adventures and boarding
Pack adventures last a few hours, include structured and off-leash exercise, and build in basic obedience. Boarding is offered at the clubhouse, where a team member lives on site.
