About A+ Canine Performance, LLC

A+ Canine Performance is a mobile training business at 620 Charles Ln, Spring Hill, whose whole model is stated in one line: "With Mobile Dog Training, we'll come to you!"

Who runs it

Tom Dixon signs the about page as "Owner / Dog Trainer" with the post-nominals ABCDT and ABCSDT. His account of how he got there is long and personal – years touring as a "Singer/Songwriter", a Cavalier King Charles cross named Gibson that he took through Canine Good Citizen, and a rescue named Marshall who "tested everything I had ever learned about training dogs". The credential itself he states plainly: "I enrolled in the Dog Obedience Trainer Program at Animal Behavior College and officially became a Certified Dog Obedience Trainer." A second trainer, Haley Shwartz, is described as having started as a veterinary assistant and in the veterinary technician program at Columbia State before moving to training.

Programs and prices

Two obedience courses are published, both in-home and both priced. Beginner covers sit, down, stay, come, focus, loose leash walking, leave-it, drop-it and door waiting; "Private lessons are scheduled once per week, for 6 weeks, in the comfort of your home" at "Cost: $90 / Session – $540 Total". Advanced adds heel and auto-sit and pushes the rest "off-leash with increased distractions", with beginner obedience named as a prerequisite and the note that it uses "only positive reinforcement methods". Problem behavior work is sold per session at "Cost: $90 /session", with a "$30" consultation where the case needs one, and an extra "$30" where a session "requires that we supply an assistant or dog to be used for training". Trainer-led pack walks are listed as a service in their own right.

What they will not take

The problem-behavior page ends with a line few trainers publish: "At this time, we are not taking on any aggression cases."

Current availability

The group training page reads "No group training scheduled at this time." – so the group option exists on paper but is not currently running.

A note on the source

The site is a Wix build and the home page still carries an unedited platform placeholder, "Tell people what you do and give them a reason to click." Nothing has been read as a service claim from that line or from the product-recommendation sections.

What they can help with

Sit, stay, recall and reliable commands, from beginner to advanced.
Early socialization, house-training and first manners for young dogs.
Behavior modification for unwanted or problem habits.
Sessions in your own home, where many behavior problems actually happen.
Calming a dog that barks or lunges at other dogs or people while on leash.
