About Dog Training Elite Omaha
In-home and facility training in Omaha
Dog Training Elite Omaha is led by owner and lead trainer Bob Wiegand, a lifelong Omaha-area resident. The location promotes a 1st Place award for Dog Training in Omaha's Choice 2025. Training starts with in-home sessions that involve the whole family, and once dogs master the basics they move on to group classes to practice in busier settings.
Programs
Programs cover obedience, puppy training, anxiety and aggression, therapy dog training, group classes and service dog training for roles such as mobility assistance, autism support, PTSD and psychiatric service work. Obedience packages come in-home or in-facility: Platinum includes 8 one-on-one sessions and lifetime group classes, with a goal of off-leash control; Gold includes 5 one-on-one sessions and 24 group classes; Silver is a touch-up with 3 private sessions and 8 group classes. Pricing is by phone. Discounts go to military, first responders, veterans, teachers and educators.
Method
The team describes its approach as balanced training that incorporates positive reinforcement.
