About KC Elite Dog Training

What they offer

KC Elite Dog Training is based at 5149 Roundtree St in Shawnee, and its trainers come to clients' homes across the greater Kansas City area. The site says the company has been training dogs alongside families for more than 15 years.

Private training

Private training covers the everyday issues the site lists: pulling on the leash, aggressive behavior, jumping on guests, not coming when called and potty training. Common requests also include kennel training, staying off furniture, nuisance barking, boundary training, controlling aggression and off-leash compliance.

Specialized training

The specialized training page covers therapy dog training and training for emotional support dogs, preparing them to stay calm and responsive in real-world settings.

How they train

KC Elite describes itself as balanced: the trainers bring a range of techniques and tools and use only those that fit the dog. Owner David Caton trains each of the company's trainers himself before they work with clients.
