How training works

Every program starts with a free consultation, which is required before any program begins. Training is "private, one-on-one sessions with our certified trainer," typically 6 to 8 sessions of about an hour, held "either in your home or a public setting." The company commits to "force-free, positive reinforcement-based training methods… No prong collars or shock collars!"

Programmes

Three tracks are described. Puppy work for dogs aged 8-24 weeks covers acclimating a puppy to a new home, chewing and play biting, socializing with guests and other animals, leash and crate introduction, potty training and house manners. Obedience runs Basic, Intermediate and Advanced, covering sit, down, stay, place, touch, recall and loose leash walking, with optional add-ons including crate and muzzle training. Behavior modification covers "varying levels of aggression, fear, generalized anxiety and/or separation anxiety," resource guarding over food and toys, and on-leash reactivity and pulling. Alumni are offered boarding and daycare programs plus "life-long support and direction from your trainer."
