About Woofie’s® Reston-Herndon-Sterling

Woofie's of Reston-Herndon-Sterling is a franchise location – the site notes "Each location independently owned and operated" and that the brand is "Part of the Authority Brands Family" – and it is a notable one locally. The franchise owner, Tanya Lee, writes that she is "a long-time Reston resident and pet owner" and that she is "proud and grateful to have opened the very first Woofie's franchise location!" The location says "Since 2019, we've been a trusted resource for pets and their owners".

What it actually sells

The service list is pet care first: "dog sitting services in Reston, VA", plus a Mobile Pet Spa "which brings pet pampering right to your doorstep" and hand stripping mobile dog grooming, "a specialized process for wire-haired dogs that removes excess hair so that a new, softer coat can grow through".

The training gap

Dog training is named repeatedly in the navigation and the service copy, but this location's pages publish no training program, no class, no method and no price. Every concrete detail on the site concerns sitting, walking and grooming – for example, after each sitter visit "you will receive communication that includes a journal, pictures, and even the GPS route for walks". Treat training here as something to ask about rather than something described.

Coverage

The service area is published town by town – "Dunn Loring Great Falls Herndon Oakton Reston Sterling Vienna West Mclean" – along with a twenty-entry zip code list, and the office is at "1897 Preston White Dr, Suite 102 Reston, VA 20191".
