About BFF Canine Obedience

Balanced training across formats

BFF Canine Obedience is a Cincinnati dog-training business run by Le Dao, described on the site as having 8 years of experience in aggression and obedience, a Certified Canine Good Citizen (CGC) evaluator, and a bachelor's degree in Organic Chemistry. The site states a "Balanced Training" approach and emphasizes efficiency — clear, concise lessons aimed at resolving issues quickly — while noting it will show alternative methods if an owner isn't comfortable with a given technique.

Services and pricing

The offering covers private lessons, group classes, and board & train, with training interests spanning puppy training, basic obedience, leash walking, taming aggression (people- and dog-reactive), therapy dog prep, and off-leash control. Pricing is published transparently: private lessons run $200-$300 per session with no package commitment, group classes $150-$600 depending on length (3 to 16 weeks), and board & train $3,000-$6,000 for 14 days. Private lessons take place in the owner's home; group classes have run at a local Tractor Supply location, with the office at 4120 Harrison Ave., Cincinnati. The site cites a 5-star Google rating with 100+ reviews. Note: at time of capture the site flagged that group classes were temporarily canceled due to a medical emergency. Contact is 859-630-0746 (call/text) or mybffcanine@gmail.com.

Le is an invaluable resource! I had one session with him and my life changed overnight! After two hours with Le my gsp puppy was a different dog! He was prompt at getting back to me, was flexible with moving my appt, he’s a great communicator, he arrived on time, and could not have been more professional, pleasant, and a joy to work with. He was referred to me by a trusted friend who sang his praises! Do not hesitate to reach out and get your training underway with Le! Money well spent!

We cannot recommend Le enough. He is incredible at what he does, and you can tell he cares deeply and wants the best for you and your pets. We had a laundry list of things we wanted to improve with our two dogs behavior, and Le was able to support us with every single “issue” or behavior change we needed within two sessions. While the day to day training is now on us to maintain and implement, we feel a night and day difference with the clear directions and education we have been given. Thank you Le!

Le was great. We did personal sessions which included coming to our house and working with our dog in the comfort of her own house and yard. Really appreciated that he doesn't do package deals and is honest when he thinks you have accomplished the goals we set out at the beginning.

Also was very responsive to texts between appointments.

Would use Le again in a heartbeat and will be recommending him to others in the future.

We finished the adult dog obedience class a couple weeks ago and my husband and I loved working with Le! Not only was he so patient with our dogs (1 year and 4 years old), but patient with us as we learned. We needed help with leash walking, attention, and jumping/barking and in 6 weeks of classes, there was so much progress. Today, we took a walk with the dogs that was not them pulling us the whole time, and followed it with playing in the backyard where they are typically distracted by the neighbor dogs. Unlike a few weeks ago, they were able to play without barking across the yard at the neighbor dogs the whole time and came to us when called despite the many distractions. We’re so happy with the information we were given and taught, and hope to work again with Le in the future in more advanced classes. 😊

We have two Pitt-bulls, that were very aggressive. Lee has came to us and has taught us how to prevent anxiety , prevent the dogs from jumping on our guest, the proper way to respond to our dogs bad behaviors. Most importantly he taught us the proper way to walk our dogs. Lee is an amazing trainer. We would recommend him to anyone.
