About Hi-Tide K9, LLC.

The specialty

Hi-Tide K9, LLC presents itself as a puppy obedience specialist. The site describes the business as accredited obedience training specialists and says its programs are tailored rather than standardized.

Approach

The site organizes its philosophy around patience, passion and practice. On patience it is blunt: the business says it takes the time to learn a puppy's specific needs and help them learn in a positive way, and states outright: "We do NOT shock puppies into submission!" It argues that most K9 companies lose patience and damage a puppy's core obedience foundation by overcorrecting or improperly correcting young puppies.

Practice and handoff

The site describes daily practice with many breeds and puppy personalities, and says owners are sent home with the tools needed to continue the routine.

Size

The business describes itself as small but mighty, with only a select few trainers, and states its motto as quality over quantity – programs that are not watered down for the masses.

Programs

Private K9 training, group K9 training and contracted K9 training are the three program types listed.
