Cheryl has been incredibly helpful working with my family and our puppy! We got off to a great start with in home puppy training, and continued on with her for star puppy class, CGC and even a first aid class. It is clear she really loves the dogs and loves what she is doing. Her 20+ years of experience has been instrumental in helping us work through the "teenage" phase of puppyhood. We appreciate all her help!

Raise the bar changed my life! I was so nervous about getting training my four-year-old dogs. They are twins and would not listen to me. Mark completely revamped the way I was able to manage my dogs with his training style. He showed up every week with a smile and genuine care for them. He helped me set boundaries with my dogs that they needed to be well behaved. I could not recommend them enough. Anytime someone I know gets a dog I recommend they come here!!

Cheryl is a miracle worker! My 10 year old Pomeranian, Vegas, has been an anxiety-ridden mess for most of his life. I had a lot of trouble controlling Vegas' behavior which included him being an absolute terror on a leash whenever he saw people, other dogs or bikes. He was marking all over my house. He was also getting very mean towards guests and would get particularly mean in the evenings towards me when it was time for bed. With Cheryl's training, I am able to put him in his 'space' and he calms down and is left alone.

Cheryl came highly recommended from my Vet's office. My vet was refusing to medicate him and said she would only consider it if I met with Raise The Bar. Cheryl came to my home and observed Vegas' behavior and asked a lot of questions. She told me that he needs to be on anxiety meds ASAP (which I was then able to request from the vet and they obliged).

Vegas has not only become a much happier and obedient dog but the marking and bad behavior has changed significantly. Just yesterday we were able to go to a very busy Lowe's and walk around. He was so excited and curious! I hadn't been able to take him anywhere before Cheryl's training. Most of my neighbors know me and my dogs and a lot would avoid us because of Vegas' behavior. Two weeks ago, Vegas was called 'chill' on a walk during our community yard sale. I told everyone about the changes that we made and how much of a difference I could see in Vegas. I'm still in a state of shock at his change in behavior.

I am so happy that I was introduced to Raise The Bar. I have a happier, healthier and more obedient dog. I'm just sad we didn't find Cheryl sooner! If you have a dog that you think cannot be helped, hire them. You won't regret it!

I can't express how happy we are with Raise the Bar Dog Training!! We got our Golden Doodle Leo almost a year ago as an 8 week old puppy and had been looking for trainers. We even had one come to our house for an initial consult, but that trainer didn't seem to be a fit for us so we continued to look. One Sunday I picked up a copy of the Christian Blue Pages at church and found Raise the Bar. I contacted them by email and got an immediate response. A week later Cheryl came out to our house to meet us and to meet Leo. In that initial consultation we learned so much from Cheryl and Leo really hit it off with her. We immediately decided she was the trainer we've been looking for, so we signed up for training and started the following week.

Although we previously had a dog, we realized how different our previous dog was from Leo. It has been a blessing to see how much Leo has progressed through Cheryl working with him and by her guidance us on how we need to approach his training.

Through Raise the Bar we have also had the opportunity for Leo to socialize with other dogs through Cheryl's Tuesday night classes. It's made a big difference for Leo because it has opened up a whole new world for him that he was lacking. When we have questions Cheryl has always responded promptly with the answers and feedback that we need.

I could go on and on but I would just say we're very happy with Raise the Bar Dog Training and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for help with dog training.

Cheryl was amazing with training me to train my dog! She came to my home to help with separation anxiety issues with my rescue, and we also took her Canine Citizenship class. Great experience all the way around!
