About All About Dogs
Established and well-referred
All About Dogs has a long track record in Cincinnati, with the site stating it was "established in 1994" and has operated "over 30 years" with "over 7,000 satisfied clients." It also leans on professional referrals, noting it is "referred by many of the top veterinarians in the city, including Eastgate Animal Hospital, Lewis Animal Hospital, and Cincinnati Care Center." Those referral relationships are a meaningful trust signal for a training business.
Thin on specifics
Beyond longevity and referrals, the website is sparse: it doesn't detail the specific services, class types, training philosophy, certifications, or setting. The page functions as a basic homepage with contact information (4008 Holbrook Ave, 513-231-5959) but leaves the program structure unexplained. Owners interested in this trainer will need to call to learn what's actually offered, how training is delivered, and what methods are used. The three-decade history and veterinary referrals make it worth a conversation, but the site itself doesn't provide enough to compare it in detail against more transparent listings.

You can spot dogs John has trained on your walks. They are well trained, heeling on the owner's left, sitting at every stop, eyes always checking their owners–not the dogs leading their owners on a retractable tether.
I read another review's concern, and I can say John made completely clear to us that his board-and-train program involved him taking our dog to his home. It lives with him for the week, so this is not a surprise.
John is honest and forthright. Our experience was very positive, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
